Anadyr Adventures Youth Programs

Our youth programs offer something new and exciting to do with your youth group, such as hands-on field work for your high school or college class or just for a recreational outing for a scouting group? Whether a daytrip out to one of the glaciers in the Valdez area, or a multiday wilderness adventure, Anadyr Adventures' youth programs aims to increase knowledge and appreciation of the natural world through hands-on activities and first hand experiences. Whether hiking through the rainforest, learning about glaciers, exploring tide pools or building a survival shelter and signal fire, our youth program participants can be assured of a fun and memorable day. The evenings will be filled with games and campfires, and the nights will be spent camping in tents under the midnight sun.

Our youth program guides are top professionals trained in kayak techniques, and wilderness safety. They are also educators and trained naturalists. With our extensive training and experience our youth programs facilitate an unforgettable experience for your group. We have worked with boy and girl scouts, private and public schools from elementary to university level and with groups of at risk youth. We can structure trips to fit course requirements for highschool or college course work.

Our guest to guide ratio of 8:1, powerboat support, and location in the protected fjords of PWS ensure that the memories taken home are of newly found friends and amazing experiences.
