This 9-day expedition visits Meares Glacier, which is an advancing tidewater glacier in Prince William Sound. We will paddle amongst icebergs and have the opportunity to view wildlife in this unique coastal environment.
After an exciting day on the water, we’ll pull onshore each evening to make our home on the beautiful beaches and in the forests of the incredible Prince William Sound. Accommodations include a room with a view!
After a day of paddling, there’s nothing better than relaxing, taking in the breathtaking scenery and enjoying a delicous homecooked meal!
This trip includes an unforgettable paddle in Columbia Bay, where you will paddle with icebergs from Columbia Glacier, the largest tidewater glacier in Prince William Sound.
One of the highlights of this trip is paddling along the south side of Glacier Island, a unique coastline, abundant with wildlife and rocky caves and cliffs, which are home to many species of animals, including Steller Sea Lions and Puffins!
